Nestled in the picturesque village of Pettistree, Greyhound Inn is a free house with a short seasonal menu, thoughtful wine list and local cask beer.

Head Chef, Adam Spicer, serves a short seasonal menu inspired by the rural surroundings of Greyhound Inn. Working in close contact with producers, the menu changes regularly to ensure only the best of what is available locally is used.

Dishes feature options such as rolled Suffolk pork belly or fresh pea & asparagus risotto, as well as a speciality Weekend Sharing Dish available every Friday - Sunday for an indulgent dining experience.

On the other side of the menu, Greyhound Inn serve a small selection of ever-changing local cask ales, alongside a selection of familiar favourites on the keg lines. They work closely with a handful of wine suppliers to create a unique list comprised of outstanding everyday value by the glass, right up to a very special single bottle Cellar List. There is a list of classic cocktails, alongside seasonal specials using homemade syrups, and plenty of non-alcoholic options.

Greyhound Inn is situated in Pettistree, Suffolk, just outside the beautiful and vibrant market town of Woodbridge, and not far from Ipswich.

    Starter of wild rabbit terrine was tasty Bread was very nice even ordered a second helping however the mains let everything down The Partridge was very overcooked. The broth had zero flavour the pork was bland. The potatoes and sauce also had zero flavour. Would’ve been nice to have had a decent glass of wine however wine list was heavily weighted towards the old world and fairly exorbitant in price I raised my concerns with the serving staff and they did offer to comp the whole meal however I feel people should be paid for their time and paid the bill. This is my second time at this establishment and I shall definitely not be returning. Disappointing as Adam the head chef was actually cooking

    A beautiful pub with an excellent menu and wine list. We had scallops and the roast suckling pig pork belly to share which were gorgeous and beautifully cooked. A real treat

    What a special place! I recently had my birthday meal here and it was nothing short of amazing. The service was unquestionably excellent with the staff evidently being very knowledgeable about the menu. The food was second to none it was the perfect blend of hearty Suffolk pub food with all the finesse of a top London restaurant. This truly shows off the best of Suffolk and I hope to come back soon!
