After a late evening in the Stadium we decided to have a serious breakfast before setting off for the journey home. TGIs was local and online menu had some unusual combinations so we headed there. We waited for them to open so were first in (hence the lower atmosphere score). Once in, great welcome, quick service on drinks - food was a little slower but genuinely delicious when it arrived. Service was super - 1 chap (Luis i think) manning the whole place, joined in with our laughter and silly conversations but also kept his eye on the needs, offering more drinks when he spotted an empty cup etc. We would visit again.

Shockingly bad. The restaurant has seen better days. Furniture and cutlery look tired when not plainly dirty. Seats are full of dirt and looks like they haven't been cleaned in ages. The food is ok at best. The burgers have dry buns and onion and do not look appetising at all. Kids portions are reasonable. Service is pretty slow and they seem disinterested in serving you. Once they serve you, the staff was nice but once they are gone, no questions about your food or drinks, you have to chase them. Expensive for the quality of the food.

Steak had cajun rub on it, when asked if if contained paprika was told no, but to try it, i explained if i eat paprika it causes me severe stomach pains but upon a Google search it did indeed contain paprika so they took it back to recook it, also the burger ordered was burnt in places and the lettuce on top was going off, and had brown bits on it and was rubbery, the steak came back, was grisaly and tasted like cheap quality (ive had better steaks in wetherspoons) the chips were also cold. Complained and was given 25 percent off then I used a voucher and they took the 25 percent off back. My partner has also been ill today with a dodgy tummy after eating there. Id avoid this place altogether. Its a shame as tgi's used to be so good.
