Slug & Lettuce - Watford

I visited Slug and Lettuce last weekend, and it was a fantastic experience! The atmosphere was lively yet relaxed, with a modern and stylish decor that made it a great spot to unwind. The menu offered a wide variety of options, and I was impressed by both the quality and presentation of the food. The cocktails were a highlight—beautifully crafted and bursting with flavor. Whether you’re into classics or something more adventurous, they’ve got you covered. the staff michael service was prompt and friendly, he was very attentive without being overbearing. It felt like they genuinely cared about making the experience enjoyable. Overall, Slug and Lettuce is a great place for a casual meal, celebratory drinks, or even just a catch-up with friends. I’ll definitely be back soon!

Service and food was amazing. Fabulous time, can't wait to book again. Staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough for us! Loved it!

We came to the cafe at 11 am today. No one greeted us, even when they saw us they didn’t even say hello. I was with my three-year-old daughter. I got the impression that to them we did not look like clients who would spend a lot of money. From the very beginning it was biased. Although I was with a child, the waiter did not bring us a children's menu. I had to ask myself. We waited until they brought us pancakes from the children's menu, where it says that they come with caramel, berries and marshmallow. Waiter brought us just two pancakes only with caramel. I want to insist that they were inedible. I am attaching a video of what kind of oak wooden pancakes they brought us. Do you think this is normal? Would you feed your children this way? They added marshmallow and strawberries to us only after I pointed this out to the waiter. I have an extremely !!!! negative assessment of this establishment and its staff. I would gladly return the money for this visit to your cafe.
