Not good at all. Seated in the outside glass area which was very cold, but as the area was full we could not move. The waiter took our orders and I explained I was Gluten intolerant. I ordered the fish and chips. The starters arrived in good time, but we then waited 55 minutes for the main course, and that was only after stopping a waiter to ask. The mains then arrived. The waiter said yours is gluten free, then 5 minutes later the manager came rushing to our table and took my dinner, saying mine wasn't gluten free. My wife and friend ate there dinner and then the manager, put in front of me the gluten free fish. The fish was not battered, but cooked in a cream looking something or other and there were no chips, he mumbled I will get them. The cream coloured thing on my plate was not crispy and was vile The manager came back with my chips, no apology. The waiter cleared the table and I ordered a coffee with skimmed milk. I maid a point of saying skimmed. The manager delivered the coffee and said no skimmed only semi skimmed. The food was basically rubbish, not cooked properly and verging on inedible. The Manager was a joke, no customer service at all. My reviews are read by many people and I hope they take heed of this one.

Though a little pricy, this restaurant is on our list for special occasions! We seem to always arrive when it's mostly empty in the restaurant (which we really really don't mind!) but the bar always has a comfortable feeling to it. The food is lovely and so is the staff!

We visited today for afternoon tea for our sisters 60th birthday. The service was absolutely 5 plus stars. So attentive and helpful. Nothing was too much bother. Absolutely recommend the food too! Love the brioche sandwiches 😋. Great value for money. Would definitely visit again when we are that way visiting our sister. Thank you so much all of you, we had a lovely day at your beautiful venue.
