This charming French-inspired bistro is located in Kingston-upon-Thames and is the perfect place to head for Breakfast after a stroll along the riverside walk.

Their Breakfast menu is an extensive mix ranging from light options such as a simple croissant or fruit salad to cooked breakfast classics such as Eggs Benedict and continental twists such as Crepe Complète with shaved Gruyere cheese. Côte follow the mantra that breakfast is better when boozy and you can upgrade to add a mimosa and Bloody Mary

Their French Sunday lunch menu is an equally eclectic affair, created with a unique twist exclusively for two to share. Enjoy panoramic views of the River Thames and Hampton Court Park while savouring French cuisine in the stunning Côte Kingston restaurant. Located on Riverside Walk, with a beautiful bankside outdoor seating area, you can watch the boats go by or rent one from just outside the restaurant.

We visited here on a Saturday around 3pm for a celebration dinner. We booked in advance for inside seating. There is outside seating which is perfect on a sunny date as right next to the river. The staff were very welcoming and helpful with their recommendations for food and drinks. We all opted for three courses, they do have weekend set Menus which is worth a look. All the meals arrived in perfect timing, they gave enough time between each meal so it wasn’t rushed. Everything was cooked beautifully and a really enjoyable meal. We will definitely be visiting again!

Breakfast stop at Côte Restaurant I was out on one of my morning walks looking for a good breakfast spot and came across Côte Restaurant after reading a bunch of reviews. When I walked in, I was seen a few times but wasn’t acknowledged right away. Eventually, I got a seat outside, and my server showed up—didn’t look too thrilled to be working that early, but honestly, I probably had the same look on my face. I ordered the green juice (which was really good!) and the Garden Breakfast—definitely recommend it if you’re not into pork. The food hit the spot. By the end of the meal, the two ladies working warmed up a bit and actually gave me a real smile, which I appreciated. Sometimes that tiny gesture makes all the difference. Food gets a solid 5 stars from me. Service? Maybe a 3 based on that first impression—but I’d still come back to try their lunch or dinner. The menu looks great and I’d love to see what the vibe is like later in the day. Cheers, BN

A brilliant fixture on Kingston riverside, eating inside or outside you are in for a treat. Lovely staff, including Jaye who really looked after us. Wine list is excellent, there are few situations a carafe of Picpoul can't improve. Food is stunning, the scallops are a real crowd pleaser and the new roasts are an absolute pleasure. Great atmosphere, good mix of patrons, not too noisy, just right.
