Good hotel very handy for Stepping Hill Hospital 30 min walk away. On main road but surprisingly little traffic noise. Good help yourself breakfast. Good size bedroom and bathroom with shower over bath. Loads of hot water. Everywhere very clean particularly the bathroom. Shame no evening dining facilities but plenty of options nearby. We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel and it exceeded our expectations.

We booked a training room for an event, which was a good size. As the day wore on, as it was a sunny day, the temperature became pretty uncomfortable as there was no air conditioning and there were no fans. The staff also brought food in a few times, then took it away as it mustn’t have been the package the company ordered, which was a bit odd. Parking is tricky to find too, as the hotel is busy and was hosting another event on the day we were there.

This has to be the worst hotel I've ever stayed in! The room booked came with breakfast and when I asked about vegan options, it was mentioned they have vegan sausages, certain food is prepared separately and there were eggs...I asked were the eggs vegan and the receptionist looked like a deer in headlights! We go down for breakfast only to find out that there are no vegan sausages and all the hot food was greasy as hell! There were no bowls out for cereal, very poorly prepared. The bed in our room was rock hard! I might as well have slept on the floor. The tv was basic, absolutely no point in watching anything on it and to make things worse, the remote was dusty and sticky! Luckily I always take Antibacterial wipes with me. There was also a sign in the bathroom that if we wanted an antislip mat for the bath, to ask at reception! Why is this not in the room already?? When we checked out earlier than we planned (on order to get some proper breakfast) we went to reception and said we wanted to check out. After waiting for her to finish her phone call, she didn't even bother to ask us about how our stay was. Lack of comfort, lack of adequate equipment, lack of customer service, lack of knowledge from the staff about dietary requirements and an extreme lack of comfort. Don't bother wasting your money on this place. There are plenty of other hotels worth staying at in the area.
