We had a reservation at 7:00 PM and arrived a bit early, so we were sent to the lounge area. We ordered a bottle of wine and waited there for about 25 minutes for our table. During that time, we noticed at least four or five couples who arrived after us being seated right away. This was very disappointing and unacceptable for a fine dining restaurant — perhaps we were just unlucky, or maybe it’s because our booking was for the set menu. When we were finally seated, the waiter placed our white wine on the table without an ice bucket, and we waited quite a while before receiving our menus or being asked if we’d like water. The food eventually arrived — please see comments on the photos — but overall, everything was too salty. Throughout the meal, no one came by to refill our wine or water. After our starters, we waited more than 30 minutes for the main course. Overall, it was a poor experience and very disappointing given the restaurant’s reputation. Guests should not be treated differently based on what they order. To top it off, we were overcharged at the end. Definitely won’t recommend or return.

The Wolseley has an amazing location and a very elegant atmosphere, which makes it a great place for a special outing. The environment was lovely, but I found the food to be just okay overall—nothing particularly memorable. Most of the dishes were on the salty side, especially the soup, which was far too salty for my taste. Unfortunately, I also noticed a small fly in my wine, which was disappointing. While the setting is impressive, I felt the dining experience could have been much better.

Great venue for a little opulent dining. The food is good, it’s the venue that makes it such a great experience. The teas and coffees are a steal with three cups in each pot. The tea does get cold but hey you can’t have everything. The orange juice is fresh but a bit spendy. The pancakes were light and fluffy. The breakfast was spendy and not really worth it. Have a pastry and coffee would be my recommendation.
