One of my worst dining experiences ever. We had booked ahead after seeing positive reviews and left feeling very disappointed. We had opted for the bottomless menu which although had variety most of the menu seemed to be veggie or vegan which is really good if you are vegan but we were expecting a little more variety. We did try some of the vegan salmon which the texture was perfect however it lacked flavour and just seemed to taste of water. The presentation of the food was not bad however none of the dishes looked like the pictures on the menu. You can order three dishes per person per round and we stayed for around 90 mins and some of the food from even the first order never even arrived we ordered three rounds for three people and at least three dishes were never served although we did not ask for them I’m sure they would have also been highly disappointing. The food lack flavour and I have had better freshly made supermarket sushi in comparison to this I ordered the katsu chicken roll and I have never been so disappointed in my life the chicken tasted old and all three of us agreed it was some of the saddest sushi we had ever tasted. The service was not much better we had been served several dishes before even being offered cutlery and even more before we were offered plates we later asked for soy sauce and they came out with one small pot for all three of us to share which is highly unusual for a sushi restaurant. The staff although not rude were not friendly and we did not feel welcomed into the environment. The prices were extortionate for the quality of the food and the experience and it being even more expensive than the likes of the ivy felt like a slap in the face although we did order one cocktail pitcher the prices seemed way out of proportion for the experience that you receive.

An unforgettable experience. Rolling sushi for the first time and actually making something that looks delicious. The Sensei was incredible and made things so easy! The service and sushi post class was also excellent, really recommend this experience for couples or best friends!!!
