5.02 weeks agoTruly outstanding experience in the Sotto room, which is a private space downstairs. We hosted a birthday dinner for 14 people and all the staff went above and beyond to make it a special night. The room itself is a very nice size: there’s a great space to dine, a beautiful bar, room to move around and WC right next to the room. We had a dedicated server for our space, Anik, and he was so efficient and friendly throughout. Organising food and drink before was very easy, all done by email with messages being efficiently responded to. The food itself was a perfect selection of Italian classic, served family style at a perfect pace through the evening. Our glasses were never empty, we played music from my phone, and all our guests were delighted with the whole experience. We have high expectations in general, and were so impressed. Recommended wholeheartedly!

4.02 months agoA beautiful spot with lively ambience, and delicious food. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Soho!! I appreciated the thoughtful and tasty options available. Highlights for me included the vegetarian Tagliatelle with Black Summer Truffle, and the Ravioli stuffed with Spinach & Ricotta!! all of which felt indulgent and well‑prepared. Service was warm and efficient.

2.04 months agoThe interior of the restaurant was lovely - stylish and thoughtfully designed, which made a great first impression. However, £18 for a few cherry tomatoes with buffalo cheese felt excessive, especially considering the portion size. The rest of the food was decent, but nothing that really stood out. A rather odd moment was when my friend’s small bottle of water, which was on the table, was taken away by the staff with the promise to keep it for her - only for it never to be returned. While the restaurant seems to aim for a fine dining experience, the details let it down. There were quite a few fruit flies around, and at one point a server (in a suit) actually had to catch one with a napkin while serving food - I had pointed it out, but still, not what you'd expect. Our waitress was pleasant, but service was quite slow, particularly when it came time to pay. When we asked to split the bill by exact amounts, she seemed visibly annoyed, which was disappointing. As we left, neither of the two hostesses at the front acknowledged us - no goodbye, no thank you - they were too busy chatting with each other, despite clearly seeing us leave. We did pay the 13.5% service charge, but honestly, it didn’t feel earned. While some dishes were enjoyable, overall the experience didn’t meet expectations, and I wouldn’t return. There are plenty of other places offering better food and service for the same price - or less.
