Absolutely delicious meal for our family of four last night!! Beautifully cooked meals and friendly service. Only slight niggle was that the music was a bit too loud and the men at the bar were swearing which wasn’t ideal when eating with young children. Otherwise wonderful experience!

My partner and I walked from Blackpool to visit this delightful restaurant. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The decor is beautiful, with an open fire in the bar area. We could tell that great care and attention goes into keeping the restaurant clean and well presented. I had the grilled haddock and and my partner had cheese and bacon omelette, which was well worth the 9 mile walk. Thank everyone at The Farmers Arms for making our visit so enjoyable, and we hope to see you again soon.

Always enjoyed it here but this time ( first time having Sunday lunch) the food was very disappointing for 2 out of a party of 3. Beef and lamb were both tough and could hardly cut through it. Roast potatoes had an odd taste and very hard as was the cabbage. The mash and Yorkshire pudding were tasty but nearly cold. Chocolate pudding was delicious. Sadly we won't be returning for Sunday lunch menu Very loud.
