Stunning estate with an abundance of space in our room. We had a king or queen for the main bed and they set up a large pull out for our 3rd in the bay window area. Great in room amenities including both sparkling and still waters, cocoa, tea, and coffee. Very nice restroom with all the shower amenities you'd need. It was decorated for the Christmas holiday so extra warm and lovely. Two separate dining areas. We adored the evening dinner service manager who "forbid" my daughter and I from having dessert after we didn't finish our dinner. Great interactions with the staff and just a lovely space!

Attended their Hogmanay dinner and dance. Champagne and canapes to start before being following a piper playing well known Scottish tunes into a restaurant with a large dance area and a band set up in one corner. The service was very good given almost 100 people attending. Each course was served well in under 3 hours leaving plenty of time for dancing up to and beyond the bells into 2025. Had to park round the back of the hotel in golf parking as it was so busy. Food was very enjoyable as was the band. Great start to the year.

We stayed in suite 36 for 3 nights. The room was very musty, the wallpaper on the ceiling was stained and peeling a little in places. We did complain and we were offered an alternative but not on the first night as there were no rooms available because of a wedding. We had asked for a room next to our travelling companions before booking but because of the wedding this was not possible. We would have to be the ones who had to stay in the musty room and then move. The bed was comfy enough although the pillows could be softer but that of course is personal choice. The staff on the whole were lovely. I can't say fully accommodating because we had to stay in the room and no compensation was given. The food was excellent. It was tasty and well presented. The temperature of the food that was served was especially excellent. Due to the price we paid, I definitely think our stay was not what we hoped for because our room totally let us down because of the smell in it. We opened all the windows of course, but it didn't help. The views around the estate are absolutely wonderful. We saw three fawns on the drive up to the estate which was just lovely and special.
