My family and I were there for the "All You Can Eat Breakfast," but the service we received was far below expectations. We used an Octopus promotional code, which states that for every paying adult, one kid can eat free, applicable for up to four adults and four children. As we were two adults with two children, both children should have been eligible for the offer. However, the staff insisted that only one child could eat free. Although I pointed out the terms and conditions, they were dismissed without a clear explanation. To resolve the issue, I showed the app's current promotion offering "Kids eat at £1." While this was accepted by the staff, we were ultimately charged full price for the children’s meals. This inconsistency and lack of professionalism were very disappointing. Furthermore, when I questioned why one child was allowed free but not the other, the staff claimed the offer only applied to main meals not all you can eat breakfast —contradicting their earlier decision. Then I have a follow-up question: if the coupon can only be used for main meals, why was one of them given for free? That absolutely doesn’t make sense. This experience not only disrupted our family outing but also left us feeling unfairly treated. I refrained from further argument at the time to avoid spoiling our day. However, I must commend their group’s customer service, which was excellent. They responded promptly to my comments and addressed the IT issue to mitigate the unprofessional behaviour and poor attitude of the staff. They also showed empathy by offering me a £5 voucher to use at other restaurants within their group, acknowledging that I would likely not wish to dine at this particular restaurant again. They were absolutely right—no matter how much it costs, even if it were free, I would not want to return. The staff’s attitude left me feeling extremely dissatisfied and unhappy.

As always great meal very reasonably priced lovely staff, nothing too much trouble, great atmosphere and clean. We will definitely come back.

We were welcomed as we entered . The young lady showed us to our table. We were asked quickly what drinks we wanted and got them quickly. Asked about allergies etc then told to go for roast when we were ready. Food was served quickly with small queue and friendly chefs. Food was plentiful, hot and tasty. After that asked if wanted dessert or more drinks or coffee. We had cheesecake which was lovely and coffee. The bill was dispatched quickly when we asked for it . All staff especially our waitress Molly were friendly, helpful and informative. Very pleasant Sunday lunch .
