Côte Brasserie is a taste of modern French cuisine, inspired by bustling Parisian bistros. Côte can always be relied upon for authentic French dishes, you should really visit to try their Breakfast and Sunday Lunch menu.

Expect heavenly pastries, baguettes and crêpes sitting next to classics such as the Full English Breakfast on the menu. Why not try Côte's twist on the British staple? Their French Breakfast includes two fluffy scrambled eggs, boudin noir, French streaky bacon and a field mushroom on toasted brioche.

There's a selection of morning drinks to accompany your leisurely Breakfast, from a cafe au lait to a more lively Mimosa of  Blanc de Blanc Brut with fresh orange juice.

Their French Sunday lunch menu is an equally eclectic affair, created with a unique twist exclusively for two to share. Choose from corn-fed marinated chicken or sirlion steak (16oz), served with Comté & thyme ‘Yorkshire puddings’, crispy confit potatoes, gratin Provençal, tenderstem broccoli, lemon & herb aioli and peppercorn sauce.

The meal I had here was incredibly enjoyable and the staff were extremely friendly. I believe my servers name was Jose and he made my experience here just that bit better. I got the Niçoise salad which was fabulous and one of the best meals that I’ve had in Nottingham. My friend said that the burger was also good !! The location is great and the outdoor seating is lovely when the sun is out. I can see why this place is so popular.

A fantastic experience all round, from the birthday surprises to the quality of the food. This was my first visit to a Cote and I want to come back to try more from the menu and experience the lovely atmosphere. I had the scallops for starter followed by the Hake and both were fantastic.

My partner and I came here for lunch on a weekday to celebrate our anniversary, which we had mentioned as the purpose of the meal when making the reservation. We ordered the Prix Fixe 2-course and 3-course menus, and the quality of the food was truly excellent. Every dish was incredibly delicious, especially the Pan-Fried Sea Bass, with its crispy skin and tender flesh leaving a lasting impression on me. The staff seemed quite busy and came across as a bit distant, which made the service feel somewhat lacking. At other restaurants, if the purpose of the visit is noted—such as celebrating a birthday or anniversary—it’s common to see a simple “Happy Birthday” or “Happy Anniversary” written on the dessert plate. Unfortunately, this wasn’t done here, which was a little disappointing. However, the quality of the food more than made up for it, and I would definitely return in the future.
