2.03 months agoOvercrowded lack of staff, only 1 person on carvery, poor quality half burnt dried out food. Well booked a table for 12.30 roast arrived at 12.20 and was packed managed to get seated only to be told to que for an hour yes a whole hour until I arrived at the carvery one poor chef chopping away at meats I went large on my plate so should have got extra meat? well very disappointed as I received 2 x sausages and some very poor quality pieces of beef/gammon. My pint of beer was also £5.70 which is very expensive in my area. No management no apologies never again.

4.0a week agoRestaurant was quiet for a Saturday. Pre booked table, straight in on schedule. Lovely carvery although I always think a little more meat would be nice even having a large plate. Waitress service was really good. Choice of ale was poor but perhaps I'm the only one who doesn't like Doom Bar. Had a £10 birthday offer which was really nice. Quite expensive compared to midweek and £6.15 a pint for Peroni, really?

1.02 months agoThe Ultimeat Carvery—false advertising at its finest. Where was the meat? The scraps I found were tougher than old boots, and the rest was missing in action. No Yorkshire puddings. NONE. A carvery without Yorkshires is a national scandal. Instead, they drowned the plate in red cabbage, as if that’s what we came for. My dad declared it the worst carvery in living memory—and he’s eaten school dinners in the 70s. Dry meat, no Yorkshires, and cabbage everywhere. Bravo, Toby’s. Truly dreadful.
