Set in the lovely Ropewalk’s district of Liverpool, Voyagers at The Halyard offers a relaxed, contemporary dining space in the heart of Liverpool, and is far and away one of the best spots in town to grab Breakfast or Brunch.  Housed within the newly opened Halyard Hotel by IHG Vignette Collection, Voyagers is open to guests and diners alike, with a delicious, versatile Breakfast and Brunch menu that is available seven days a week.

Voyager’s interior is simply gorgeous and does an excellent job in blending contemporary design with natural elements, creating an airy and inviting dining space. The dining space can be separated into two rooms, with the Garden Room and Voyagers restaurant. Within the Garden Room, Floor-to-ceiling windows allow light to pour in during the day, while trailing greenery and potted plants soften industrial feel of exposed brick and metal framings. Soft velvet seating in muted tones, marble topped tables create a real feeling of luxury, in a space that offers a peaceful retreat from the busy city outside.

By contrast, the Voyagers Restaurant area has a more social and lively atmosphere. Designed around a central bar, the space combines curved banquettes, modern lighting, and a palette of deep blues, burnt oranges, and natural wood. Exposed brick and open shelving lend an industrial edge, which is softened by cascading plants and warm lighting. This is the main serving area for Breakfast and Brunch, and the tone is energetic and warm, perfect for weekend Brunches or morning Breakfast meetings.

Brunch at Voyagers

undefined

Voyagers’ Brunch menu, served daily until 2pm, delivers a well-rounded selection of dishes that cater to both traditional tastes and those after something lighter or more contemporary. Quality ingredients and local sourcing take centre stage, with Baltic Bakehouse bread featuring throughout.

Familiar favourites like the Full English are available, featuring pork & tomato sausage, back bacon, hash brown, baked beans, tomato, mushroom, and eggs cooked to your preference. A vegetarian version is also offered, with a plant-based sausage and the option to go fully vegan. For a simpler start, the Eggs on Toast is served on bloomer with a choice of poached, scrambled, or fried eggs. The Eggs Benedict brings together gammon ham, poached eggs, hollandaise and muffin for a classic combination done well. The Smashed Avocado on Toast offers a little more depth, with crispy chilli oil and a toasted sesame and hazelnut dukkah adding texture and warmth. For those with a sweet tooth, the Buttermilk Pancakes are served either with bacon and maple syrup or blueberry compote and vanilla whipped cream.

Breakfast at Voyagers

undefined

For early risers, Voyagers serves a full Breakfast menu. Guests can choose from a range of cooked dishes, many of which also appear on the Brunch menu later in the day.

The Full English and Vegetarian Full English are both available, along with options like the Three-Egg Omelette, which comes with a choice of cheddar cheese, onion, spinach, ham, or mushroom. For something simpler, the Porridge Oats are cooked in oat milk and served with golden syrup, and the Eggs on Toast remains a reliable choice. Items like Eggs Benedict and Buttermilk Pancakes provide a more indulgent option, while the Smashed Avocado on Toast offers a lighter, savoury choice.

Coffee is supplied by Crosby Coffee Roasters, a Liverpool-based roastery known for its focus on ethically sourced beans and smooth blends. A full selection of tea is also available, including classic Breakfast Tea, Moroccan Mint, and Apple & Blackberry.
