Situated in Royal Victoria Dock, the spacious open-plan restaurant boasts plenty of natural light for an instant serotonin boost. Upon arrival we were offered a choice of tables and opted for a seat at one of their comfortable booths with a view of the bar. The interiors are modern and inviting with a blend of soft fabric and leather furnishings. The vibrant plants add a touch of greenery to the urban setting. Most importantly, their brunch menu is equally a mood lifter from classics like smoked salmon Benedict to innovative dishes like their Fremantle Street toast.

Our mains came out quickly - first up was the Fremantle Street toast, a sourdough sandwich with shredded carrot, cabbage, spring onions, egg, ham, kewpie mayo and sriracha. A comforting dish with a bit of a kick. The juicy cuts of thicker ham worked really well, and the sriracha added acidity to the ham making it a sandwich packed with flavour.

Next, we had the smashed avocado and smoked salmon toast. The sourdough was crisp on the outside with an airy and fluffy texture. The whole dish was well balanced with the sweet and juicy tomatoes complementing the generous portion of smoked salmon, creating the perfect bite every time.

Ending brunch on a sweet note, we ordered the poached pear and blueberry French toast. This was our favourite plate with its cashew and almond cream and an added crunch from the pecan crumble. It was fully complimented by the sweet maple syrup carrying fragrant caramel notes. This is a dish you must try for yourself.

undefinedWe washed it all down with an oat latte and a lime and elderflower spritz. The non-alcoholic cocktail was reminiscent of a nostalgic 90s freeze pop - a refreshing, floral beverage with a zesty citrus flavour.

This is the perfect spot to have brunch and catch up with friends, and the larger space makes it’s ideal to host special occasions for a delightful meal!
