Popped in for lunch and had a great experience. The staff (lewis or Louis I think his name was) were super friendly and really helpful—one even pointed me to a better deal on another menu I hadn’t noticed, which meant I got everything in the photo for just £10. They were also happy to accommodate my fussy eating, making the burger plain with a side of chilli sauce just how I like it. I used their app too and got an extra drink thrown in. Great value and brilliant service all round!

Amazing Bottomless Brunch @ Slug Central Newcastle. My first ever bottomless & it exceeded expectations! 😁 We arrived late for our booking due to train then bus issues, tried to call in advance but no reply so I was panicked they wouldn’t let us in. However, 30 mins late, we were still accepted with open arms & we were told they could still accommodate us for the full duration of our bottomless brunch! 😊 Food was delicious & ample drinks served 😋 Big thank you to Luke who was such a fantastic host! The best! He continued to serve us constantly with a big smile despite him being clearly busy with a full pub! 🤩 Other staff were all fab too. We were asked to move a short time before our table was due to expire but Luke was straight there, informing other staff that it was our table & we could stay there! Such a great waiter! The accessories on the table were fun too! Thanks team! We’ll definitely be back soon x

I ordered food via Uber Eats from a place called K-Town Chicken. After paying £18.93 for a burger, fries and 4 chicken tenders that came with a free can of Fanta, only 2 cans of Fanta and a small pot of sauce arrived. One hour later of googling and I found the only address that was the same as K-Town Chicken was Slug & Lettuce Newcastle Central..I called and got told by a waitress I needed to speak to the manager because she handles the K-Town Chicken complaints as they cook ther under her manager at the Slug & Lettuce. The manager came on the phone and told me she would resend the order. An hour later nothing had arrived and I received a call from a Korean man apparnetly from Uber Eats (the phone number showed CALIFORNIA??!!) telling me I had to repay for the order as I had been refunded £11. I said where is the other £8 of my payment and was told K-Town Chicken kept it for the 2 cans of Fanta that were delivered!!! I tried calling the manager at Slug & Lettuce back and my calls kept going to an answering machine. I am horrified and disgusted that a highly respected franchise like Slug & Lettuce allows this to happen. When I told the manager I now had hungry children at 8.30 after waiting over an hour for our order sje did not even apologise. I have reported the manager to the Slug & Lettuce franchise head office in London!!!! How us Korean food being cooked in an English pub chain and being sold on Uber Eats?????
