Sexy Fish is a glamorous, Asian-inspired seafood restaurant in the heart of Mayfair, serving delectable Japanese-inspired sushi, sashimi, seafood, fish, and meat cooked on a Robata grill.

Designed by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio and decorated with art by Damien Hirst, Frank Gehry and Michael Roberts, the look and feel is mid-century glamour and opulence. 20 of Frank Gehry’s iconic fish lamps drift above the bar, a 13-foot mirrored crocodile by Gehry perches on the wall, and Damien Hirst’s bronze mermaids and relief panels grace the bar area

The restaurant and bar is open seven days a week. The Coral Room is a private dining room, located on the lower ground floor and housing two of the largest live coral reef tanks in the world.

The bar holds the world’s biggest Japanese whisky collection, as well as offering a drinks menu featuring both classic and inventive cocktails.

Revel in a most extravagant brunch affair comprising a selection of starters, followed by the self-service sushi bar, with unlimited sashimi, sushi and maki and a range of signature dishes from the robata grill. Next, savour one of the signature sharing platters - choose from a selection of meat, fish & seafood, or a mixed selection which includes tiger prawn skewers, salmon teriyaki and roast tenderloin.

Concluding this indulgent rendezvous with desserts served for the entire table. As you relish in the opulence, be serenaded by Sexy Fish’s signature DJs and live musicians, creating an atmosphere that perfectly complements the occasion.

Located on the corner of Berkeley Square, Mayfair, Sexy Fish is just a short walk from Green Park Underground Station.

Excellent service, nothing was too much for them. They took time to go through the menu and recommend things based on the flavours I said I liked. The price was high, but it’s Mayfair so I expected that and the quality matched. A really great experience and I’ll be sure to return back. The lunch menu is a total steal btw :)

This place is worth the hype. We were greeted by staff warmly. The ambience was stunning and the female DJ was a nice touch. We waited almost 40min to be seated and the manager compensated us for the inconvenience. People were well dressed. Each plate was expertly curated. Overall it was worth the $350 we spent for 2 guests.

Food and atmosphere are wonderful. The seafood is fresh and the wine list is impressive. The service is rude, borderline aggressive at times and shouldn’t be found at a restaurant claiming to be a high end eatery. We were abruptly told to basically pay and leave since we had been at our table for two hours and someone else was 8 minutes away and they needed the table. We did have a pre-booked reservation and we were actively ordering dishes and wanted to order dessert but were refused. They also brought one of our entrees out at least 10 minutes later than the other 2 we had ordered. Set proper expectations for what kind of service you will get for the price you are paying if you choose to visit.
