I have just visited here with family, for afternoon tea. I booked this for my mum, sister and 9 year old niece, as part of their Christmas present. We were primarily served by a fabulous Bulgarian waiter called Ivaylo. He was lovely and nothing was too much trouble. He deserves a pay rise! We will definitely be booking again.

Delicious food and lovely decor. Came because we got bought a buyagift voucher, and the menu was different from the al a carte menu online, so just be aware of that - the steak and sides incurred an additional fee (which makes absolute sense) Service was great, really friendly, helpful staff.

Sunday dinner was really bad. The beef quality was not good at all. We left it behind. The potatoes were reheated and its explained this is how they do it to serve many people. Personally if Toby Calvary can provide fresh potatoes to a mass of people, the Lowry can. The only thing we ate was the veg from the Sunday roast. The sticky pudding was nice, soft, sweet and really tasty. The service by the waitress Neah was impeccable. She was lovely and so attentive. The only reason I would ever return would be for Neah’s service. Thank you for a lovely experience Neah.
