I have always enjoyed dining at The Ivy due to the very welcoming nature of each and everyone employed there. The design and deco is like being in an art gallery, every space evokes your imagination. The customer service of Rodger was above par, even created a custom made hand wipe using a serviette, hot water in a beautiful kettle and fresh lemons because no hot wipes were available. That is excellence in customer service. Amelia was so welcoming and very helpful with navigating around the breakfast menu, making ample suggestions to my dietary needs. The reception staff who are the pinnacle of any restaurant were dressed in a very presentable manner and were very approachable and accommodating especially as it was a walk-in. I would highly recommend dining at The Ivy, Spinningfields, Manchester and would also recommend the rooftop terrace and the Asia Room. Prices are not excessive of places that are in Spinningfields and every area caters to your needs.

Came here for food when on a night out with friends. Firstly, we did have a reservation. 6 minutes after out reservation we were told the party on our table were just paying and we shouldn't be waiting for too long. The restaurant was extremely busy and there wasn't anywhere appropriate to stand, as no matter where we were, we were in the way. It was then not till after 15 nearly 20 minutes after our reservation that our table was ready. So already we were 20 minutes after our reservation to be seated. Secondly, as detailed below, my friend has a severe nut allergy and they did tell her to scan the QR code, but it was not until after she had ordered that they told her the foods that are fried are not 100% guaranteed to have no cross contamination, so she ended up having to get a meal she was not as interested in, as it had to be something that wasn't friend. The waitress also suggested some meals that had nuts in, but even though they can just not be included, she was still suggesting dishes with nuts intentionally. It was a Saturday night so we expected it to be busy, but it was quite loud. We were on the ground floor and the food here is very traditional British. The 2nd floor Asian restaurant is very popular and I'd hope it's better, would like to try. Due to our table being late and my friend having the issue with her allergy, we didn't pay the service charge. We did not think having waited 20 minutes after our reservation for our table that a service charge was deserved. The toilets were very warm but beautiful. They're individual cubicles and have a statue in the middle. The lighting in the individual toilets is quite dark, so have to top up your makeup with the outside mirrors

We had a very bad experience with the Ivy in York in 2023. This is the first time we are back to The Ivy for a meal, but in Manchester, and it is amazing. We can’t describe how good this is. The food is amazing, the staff our waitress she is absolutely amazing. We had a wonderful time with the Ivy in Manchester. Next time we are going to try the restaurant upstairs The Ivy Asia. We had the British Icons menu, only for Monday to Friday, it’s a good deal, £34.95 for three courses meal and one glass of champagne, how good that is. My fish and chips is good, but personally I prefer lightly battered than this hard battered, but the fish is still good. I also tasted the Shepard Pie, that’s so so tasty. I like to cook, and this is the cooking I am talking about. Well done , the Ivy Spinningfields Brasserie Manchester.
