I cant give ale enough praise for looking after us. He was so warm and attentive. Just an absolute star. The 20 layer lasagna and the fried seafood were perfect. All round great place. Highly recommend

The restaurant is in a great location, just a few minutes walk from the train station. Parking is not that bad either. When you enter you’re greeted with the lovely interiors and elegant decor, which is perfect for photos. Went for a family dinner. Lovely staff but the service was a bit slow, food items were delivered one at a time with long waiting in between. Some orders were brought as others were almost done eating. Food was not bad though, I enjoyed the sea food sharing platter and everyone enjoyed their meal.

After receiving snarky service and food poisoning here in April 2025, i decided to give it another chance and come this year, June 2025. Piccolino continues to provide subpar service for a restaurant of such price. While our booking was at 7:30pm, we were not sat for 45 minutes. There was no seating at the bar, so we had to stand. After sitting, when our drinks arrived, my friend’s cocktail was spilled over me. My area was cleaned, but it was disappointing that my friend was not offered a replacement drink, when a large portion of an expensive drink had now gone. We received our starters at 8:50, and the mains took a long time to follow. Whilst most of the food was delicious, the pizza was very soggy underneath and, because served without a pizza cutter, fell apart on all attempts to cut it. The bill was expensive, and with service charge automatically applied. When we first received it - it had food we hadn’t ordered listed! We ended up being at the restaurant for 3 hours, by all accounts due to the long wait times. For a restaurant where diners expect to pay premiums for good service and food, we left feeling ignored and disappointed.
