I wasnt particularly hungry and was just passing though the train station so my expectations weren't high. I was incredibly satifisied with this spot. I had Arancini, Foccata garlic bread, a peach bellini and frangelico. In hindsight I should have gone for a wine instead of the frangelico but thats on me. The service was pleasant and the bill was lower than I was expecting. I don't remember exactly how much I spent but a cocktail, a double shit of liqueur and 2 starter dishes came to arround £30. As a bit of a liquer snob more cocktail options would be welcome, it was a little odd to me that Frangelico and a couple other liqueurs were offered neat. Not an issue per-se but Itallian takes on the Espresso Martini using liqueurs like frangelico, Dissaronno or Galliano might be welcome additions.

We ordered the a tasty sirloin steak with salad, french fries and sauce, followed by a scrumptious creamy tiramisu..the food did not disappoint at all and what made the experience even more alluring was the 50% offer off the lunch menu . Edson our waiter was flying solo covering not only the tables but front of house and the bar too. . Hats of to him for managing not to compromise the high level of service we received .. smiling all the way through the service. We would highly recommend eating there especially with lunch offers that are continuing over the next couple of weeks.

Carluccio’s Manchester Piccadilly Stood waiting for 20 minutes despite having booked a table. Sat at a table that hadn’t been cleaned off. Was not asked for any allergies - I have a nut allergy. Tried to order drinks but they didn’t have what we had requested. Tried to order a pizza - no pizzas available. Very kindly they did add some extra garlic bread on the house. Finally got some cutlery that was unclean. Garlic bread was funky and cold. Carbonara was tasteless and was not offered any additional Parmesan. People next to us had to send food back for being cold in the middle. Definitely would not recommend any time soon.
