Popped into Brasserie Abode recently and was met with really friendly and attentive staff — definitely a highlight of the visit. The food is of a solid standard, nicely presented and enjoyable, though not particularly memorable. The main drawback is the atmosphere. It just feels a bit flat — no background music, and the décor is starting to feel a little tired. With a light refurb and some well-chosen music, this place could be a real gem. It has the bones of a great spot, it just needs a bit of love to bring it to life. Would return, but more for the service than the setting (for now).

Great cocktails, nicely presented. Enjoyed the meat sharing platter & the Manchester tart with coconut ice cream was delicious! Friendly & attentive service in a relaxed setting.

I spent some time working remotely here needed somewhere last minute. The peppermint tea was delicious. Truffle chips yummy. Service is great. Although on one occasion I explained how I wanted my tea twice and it still came out wrong. Love the booths and decor.
