Food, ambience and service is 10/10! I’ve been to this place a couple of times now and it hasn’t disappointed yet. The first time was for a solo lunch date on a Sunday afternoon and the vibes hit just right. I received a warm and friendly welcome, quick service and delicious food. I was allowed to relax with my drink and work away on my laptop as the waiter was closing down and wasn’t felt rushed at all. The music was so good I was happy to jam there as long as possible. The second time was with a friend and although the music was just a tad too loud, the food, the portions and the service was still great. After eating we lounged on the sofa for hours talking before eventually leaving. We didn’t feel pressured to keep spending money in order to stay and I will be definitely coming back to sample more of the menu 🤤

Delicious meal - innovative combinations of ingredients and flavours. We are incredibly sad to hear this venue is closing, after only having one chance to visit! Wish we had the chance to come again and again. The amapiano playlist creates a fantastic ambiance too.

Visited with some friends. Our food came out at different times which wouldn't usually be an issue except for the fact I waited at least 20 mins after my friends were served. Waiter was rude when I queried about the wait. The food looked beautiful and artisan but the portions painfully tiny. The flavours were rich. My friends and I decided to take the "optional" service charge off our bill. We had the manager aggressively challenge us as to why. Stating customers should pay it as it tops up the staffs wages. First of all this is not America. With the high prices of the dishes they can more than afford to pay staff fairly. It is not the customers responsibility to be guilt tripped into dishing out additional money. Secondly the 20% service charge was enough to buy more food elsewhere as I was still hungry after leaving. Really wanted it to be a good experience so I could continue supporting but unfortunately I will stick to my usual favourites.
