This is a carvery. Sunday lunch. Eat as much as you want for breakfast etc. booked a table but not a comfortable spot. Felt rushed. Lots of people love it. Very busy. Staff lovely in the restaurant. My sister recommended it she lives not far and has booked Christmas lunch in the past. The lunch was quite nice. Roasties weren’t crisp. My son loved the lunch and he tried all the meats🙀. Possibly come again if visiting Windsor. Would want a better seat. Toilets were a let down. Parking good. Prices very reasonable.

We booked a table for 7.30pm however stood waiting for approximately 5 minutes before we were even acknowledged. Staff walking by us avoiding eye contact. A member of staff then found our booking and disappeared for a couple of minutes to get the table ready. I had to ask for an explanation of how things worked and was advised to go straight up to the carvery, and perhaps go to the bar to get drinks.l rather than wait to be served. No chance of ordering a starter, nothing explained re. kids meal. Another wait, standing at the carvey, staff walking past. Not even a smile or acknowledgement. The food was mediocre at best. Service at the carvey was poor. My daughter used the toilet. Unclean, water on the floor with toilet paper on top. Taps didn't work and empty soap dispensers. Avoid. *Car park was good

It wasn’t busy and we went straight to get our food. We were at the counter waiting for the chef for a few minutes. He came out and served us. I has pork, beef and lamb. And my daughter had turkey and beef. We also had a mix of all the vegetables and things to go with it. For my meat we were given all the hard or fatty bits on the end of joints even though there were fresh joints there. We did ask for the fresh stuff but got told he had to serve the other bits first. We then got our vegetables even though they looked like they had been there a while and most were almost empty or going hard. We got to the gravy and that was almost empty sh had to scrape the bottom to get any or wait for new but didn’t know how long that would be. We got back to our table and sat to eat only for the food to be cold. I did tell the waitress but she wasn’t bothered. I left about half my plate and my daughter ate a little more. I again told the waitress how very disappointed we were as we love coming to the Windsor carvery as one of our favourites. We then had to wait 20 minutes for her to bring our bill witch we paid and left. We will not be returning to that restaurant again.
