Let’s set the expectations right from the start: this isn’t a luxury dining experience for those looking for that. Instead, Toby Carvery aims to deliver a quick, delicious roast with a selection of meats, all served with fast and efficient service. Given the price point, which is barely higher than a meal at McDonald’s these days, it’s hard to complain. My experiences have consistently been positive with friendly and efficient service. For me, it’s a solid five-star experience for what it intends to be. This is not a high-end destination, but it’s perfect for a casual family meal. The quality of the food justifies a better rating than what seems to be reflected in the reviews. While the reviews appear fair and genuine in highlighting issues people have faced, they do not align with my consistently fantastic experiences at Toby Carvery. For those looking for a quick and enjoyable roast without the frills, Toby Carvery is definitely worth a visit.

Disappointing meeting of friends. Food was excellent, but despite booking a group for 15, seating was only available for 12 on separate tables. Not the occasion we had planned for. Wouldn't recommend for a social gathering. It's an eat quickly and move on venue.

Decent food, fair prices. Usually a roast dinner is associated with a decent amount of food. I was given one thin slice of turkey… one… is your guy deranged? How is one slice of thin meat ever appropriate. Is this a joke shop? Take a jacket to the men’s toilets, it’s absolutely freezing g down there to the point it may double as a meat locker. Poor experience for what should be a very standardised meal from a franchise. Not sure how you can mess this up.
