However, aside from these special offers, the experience falls short in many areas. The regular prices are quite expensive for what you get, especially considering the limited options available on the menu. The food itself is often underwhelming, with the carvery meat being dry and the vegetables lacking flavor. The quality of the dishes does not justify the high cost, and it feels like there is room for significant improvement in terms of taste and presentation. The hospitality also leaves much to be desired. The staff, although polite, seem overwhelmed and are not as attentive as one would expect. The service can be slow, and there’s a sense of disorganization that affects the overall experience. It’s clear that the restaurant struggles to deliver a welcoming atmosphere, and this makes it hard to fully enjoy your meal. Additionally, the atmosphere at Toby Carvery in Old Windsor is far from inviting. The restaurant feels dated, with a lack of character and charm. It can feel a bit dull and uninspired, which doesn’t help create a pleasant dining experience. 1.02 weeks agoFood was good, I was revolted by the customer service. It took a solid 10 minutes to be seated and the woman who took us over was cold and unsociable. It took then another 20 minutes for our order to be taken, at which time we went to get our food but then the drinks didn’t reach us for ten minutes after we started the roast. The woman who gave us the bill slammed it on the table with little remark and told us to pay at the till. I am anything but impressed. The woman at the till was rude and didn’t acknowledge a goodbye or any customer. Will not be returning

5.0in the last weekI want to say a special thank you to Archie. I left my phone in the restaurant when my partner and I went for a meal. He managed to get in touch with my boyfriend and Archie rang the hotel we are staying in to let me know it was there. I collected it from him at the restaurant the next day…I was so grateful to him, he was so kind. Archie is an asset to the team! Thank you again 😁
