Fantastic experience at Toby Carvery Stevenage as always! Laura was our waitress and she was very friendly, conversational and ensured we had a pleasant visit from start to finish. Food was top notch too, can’t beat a Sunday lunch

Half decent decor, but cold and draughty in many areas. Average food quality but has good days n bad days. Some areas cold and draughty. Cheap and er, Oh, cheerful. Decent outside space, good parking. I would probably rather eat at home but don't always have the time n space.

We like eating out in the evening yet found that Toby Carvery is only really worth thinking about for lunchtime since all the joints have been out all day. We queried what time we should visit to have freshly set out joints and were told 12 to 2. We won't be going again or recommending again unless we find Toby put out fresh joints for evening service. Meat was dry and overcooked. Service was great and friendly, wine was nice and fairly priced , atmosphere was good , such a shame the food wasn't fresh in the evening.
