On this occasion they were very busy as they had a 50% deal on. Unfortunately this did affect the food. Floppy soggy Yorkshires, overcooked sausages, no sauce on what I presume was meant to be cauliflower cheese. Serving lady dropped a Yorkshire pudding on the floor because she was rushing. Otherwise...other meats looked good. Place was clean, tables were cleaned fast. Staff were polite, friendly and helpful. I stuck with bottled drinks this time as the last time I went the bottomless drinks were awful, super weak.

Arrived early so ordered drinks at the bar and was called through to the dining room on time and thoroughly enjoyed our carvery. We had roast beef & lamb which was cooked to perfection along with Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, cabbage & carrots. The staff were very welcoming and ensured we were happy with our meal. Great staff and a very enjoyable meal, we will be back very soon x

We arrived at 4pm and it was very quiet. We walked into the lobby to be seated and the manager was on the phone and laptop. He totally ignored us. I understand he was dealing with a booking or issue but he never even acknowledge we were there. He could have said I'm sorry I will be with you in a moment but he didn't even look at us. Eventually he finished the phone call and showed us to a seat. The waitresses were superb. Pleasant and attentive. Once we had ordered we went to get our food and again nobody was serving. Another 10 minutes wait and the waitress was apologetic and went into the kitchen to get someone to serve the meat. The meat was dry the Yorkshire pudding looked like it had been there from a few days ago and the vegetables were mostly run out and all mixed up. When we got back to our table the manager was seating a family of two adults and three children. The Father asked for a highchair and the manager went off to get one but never returned. The poor mum was standing with a toddler in her hip for over 5 mins until the father got fed up with waiting and got one himself. The manager was again sidetracked and didn't even apologise. I will never return. The food was inadequate the manager was inadequate the only decent thing was the waitresses and the water. Disappointed by the whole experience.
