Toby Carvery - Badgers Mount

I visited here for a family meal, and we all chose the carvery option for our main. The main carvery meal was nice, however, there was a ten minute wait to be served at the carvery deck and some of the vegetables and the vegetarian gravy were not very warm. The portions for the main carvery were extremely good and the meat was very well cooked. Some of our party had dessert and all desserts were very nice. One of our party had an allergy and this was taken extremely seriously. An iPad was provided with all possible menu options so each possible choice could be checked for potential allergens. The member of staff also said there was an option to have the vegetables steam cooked separately if required. This part was excellent and should be commended. Overall we had a lovely meal but the restaurant did get very busy around standard meal times. Would recommend.

We recently visited Toby Carvery Badgers Mount and had the pleasure of being served by Annette, who truly made our experience exceptional. From the moment we arrived, Annette was incredibly attentive, welcoming, and friendly. She greeted us with such warmth that it felt like we were visiting an old friend. The tables were spotless, and Annette made sure everything was clean and well-organised throughout our visit. Her professionalism and cheerful demeanor set the tone for a wonderful meal. The food was delicious and perfectly cooked – everything we hoped for from a Toby Carvery. Even though we were too full to try dessert, Annette described them so enticingly that we were almost tempted! Her attention to detail and genuine care for her guests really stood out. Annette truly elevated our dining experience, making it one to remember. We’ll definitely be returning soon – hopefully, we’ll get to see her again!
