We had a reunion in the room upstairs and the white horse was perfect. Not far from the tube and a nice relaxed atmosphere, serving excellent drinks and some yummy food to nibble on. There were 50 of us altogether and the bar staff were amazing at making a variety of cocktails and serving us all quickly and with a smile. The planning and contact before the event went smoothly and was very easy. Thanks to all the team at the white horse, hope to see you again next year!

🚇 Parsons Green 🍺 £8.35 Hawkstone session ipa The White Horse Is located in leafy Parsons Green in Fulham, Southwest London. The nearest Tube is Parsons Green. There’s been a coaching inn on this spot since 1688, once serving as one of the last stops for travellers heading into London. It was rebuilt in 1778, destroyed by fire in 1881, and rebuilt again in 1882—the building you see today. Known affectionately as ‘The Sloaney Pony’, the pub earned its nickname from the upscale, fashionable ‘Sloane Ranger’ crowd that’s been drawn to the area since the 1980s. This sizeable one-bar pub blends traditional Victorian decor with modern touches. At its heart is a grand mahogany servery with a striking back bar. At the front and left are comfy scarlet banquettes with classic tables and chairs, while the back left of the bar has a more casual feel with benches, a cosy corner, vintage beer signage, and a Bass mirror. On the right, there’s a snug by the window, further down are rustic pews, an ornate marble fireplace, a portrait of an English gentleman with a white horse, and a flagstone floor. At the back is a vaulted dining area, and out front, a beer garden with umbrella-covered tables overlooking the green. The beer selection is excellent, with a broad mix of mainstream, premium, and independent brews, including five cask ales. I went for a @hawkstone session IPA—great pint, but cost a whopping £8.35! 😬 The food menu features modern British pub classics: fish and chips comes in at £20, and roasts are available on Sundays. I arrived at 12 pm on a pleasant Saturday lunchtime in May. The pub had just opened its doors and was already seeing a steady influx of punters. The atmosphere was chilled and laid-back, so settling in was easy and gave me a chance to have a good mooch around. The service was on point—the team were welcoming and friendly. This is a stunning Victorian pub with a superb (if pricey) selection of beers, lovely decor, and friendly service. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and definitely recommend a visit—just maybe not for the sesh. We ate a lovely vegan Sunday roast last weekend. It was delicious and the waitress was also really friendly and nice, I think her name was Arabella or Mirabella. We will definitely come again
