Booked this pub for a group of around 15–16 people and honestly, the customer service was excellent. They were super accommodating even when we added a few extra guests last minute. Payment was hassle-free — you could either use the app or head to the till to pay your own share, and the staff were really helpful throughout. The decor and outdoor seating area are lovely, especially during the summer. It has a great vibe. Portion sizes were impressive, some of us actually struggled to finish the roasts because they were so generous. Just a heads-up: if you’re ordering a roast, stuffing only comes with the chicken option. The general feedback was that the food could use a bit more seasoning, it was on the bland side, and the pork belly roast could’ve been crispier. Also, there wasn’t quite enough gravy. That said, the sticky toffee pudding was a highlight! Overall, it’s a really charming spot for a catch-up or group meal. While we might not return just for the food, the atmosphere and service definitely make it worth a visit.

Service was good but not very attentive. Not once asked if the food was okay even when clearing the table with half the roast dinner left. The food doesn’t match the reviews they have received. The roast dinner was a pure let down. The chef in the kitchen should have the pepper mill removed from them! The roast beef was clearly sat under a heat lamp. The Yorkshire pudding was very flat to top it off. The chicken Milanese was okay. It shouldn’t be described as a rocket and cherry tomato salad with one and a half cherry tomato’s. I definitely wouldn’t come back and regret not visiting establishments near by instead.

Lovely pub with comfortable seating inside and out! Nice cozy atmosphere. Good selection of drinks on tap which are averagely priced. We didn't eat here but food looked very good when leaving the kitchen. So service was very slow at the bar. Only 2 staff on for a busy Saturday afternoon taking drinks and food orders. Will definitely return for the food as menu was very appealing.
