Came here for breakfast with my two girls early in the morning, so it was nice and quiet. The staff, especially the front-of-house team, were really friendly and welcoming. The food was tasty and well-cooked, no complaints there. The hot chocolate went down a treat, and the waiter was really thoughtful, checking if we wanted whipped cream and sprinkles on top (we did!). They also asked whether we wanted the pancake toppings on the side or not, which was a nice touch as my little bubba would not have wanted it on top - we went for on the side, and they got it spot on. Food came to the table in good time. I will say, service-wise, I slightly prefer their Canary Wharf branch, but overall, my girls loved the food and the atmosphere. Would definitely come back!

We went for the Easter breakfast with 11 members of my family, including four children under 7 years old. It was truly lovely. We had a lovely table at the back of the restaurant where all the natural light floods in. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and it’s such a nice treat to get to go to it. The food was lovely, well presented and very tasty, most importantly! We added sausages as the Easter breakfast included bacon which to my surprise was the best bacon that I’ve ever had . The children had a wonderful time and a very exciting visit from the Easter Bunny and we got to take photos. Our waiter was really lovely and managed to track us down some smoothies that were possibly finished for the day… the children were also given Easter bunny ears and bowties which we thought was a very sweet detail that we all loved. They were also given biscuits to decorate which we took home to do. The adults were given a special Easter Egg tin of delicious truffles which we enjoyed later at home and to keep as a souvenir of the day. (1per table for our booking). Really recommend this restaurant, great food, fantastic staff and fab location and venue.

I will be honest, I found this place by accident. My wife and I gave in to our jet-lag and slept through all the restaurant's offerings of roast beef and Yorkshire pudding, on the only Sunday we would be staying in London!! Luckily, our hotel recommended The Ivy. From the amazing views of the Tower Bridge, to the excellent food and the top-tier service, I can not say enough good things about this restaurant. Mohammed (I hope I spelled that right) was a fine, young server who helped us greatly and made some very thoughtful recommendations. We started with some honey and rosemary glazed almonds, which were just the right touch. I had the lamb rump, which was cooked perfectly, and my wife's fish and chips were second only to those we had on the docks of Oban. The drinks were great and the creme brulee was crispy and sweet...it was all a very tasty welcome to London. We will definitely be back next trip!!
