Tucked away in Fulham, The Harwood Arms is a rare find — a Michelin-starred pub that stays true to its rustic roots. The highlight of my visit was the fallow deer, which was nothing short of spectacular. Perfectly cooked and beautifully presented, the meat was tender, deeply flavorful, and paired with seasonal ingredients that let it shine. It’s a dish that captures the essence of British countryside cooking with real elegance. Warm service, cozy atmosphere, and a serious respect for local produce make The Harwood Arms a must-visit — especially for those who appreciate outstanding game

I went to this place around 9pm on a weekday and was able to get a seat without reservation. Had a soup of white asparagus as a starter and Sika deer for the main course, both dishes were delicious! Also ordered a venison scotch egg, which was also good. However the service could be improved, considering it’s a Michelin!

Recently had Sunday set menu and it was a great experience. There was a lot of food included for the price. We did also add the venison scotch egg which was particularly delicious. Also highly recommend the blue cheese tart. The roast and its accompaniments were tasty, however, they didn’t really stand out more than other Sunday roasts I’ve had at pubs for a lower price. Good atmosphere, feels a bit fancier and more restaurant vibes than a pub, but still welcoming.
