Fantastic Sunday lunch. Hannah was super cheerful and smiley and looked after our table really well. Sunday roasts were excellent. Save space for the sticky toffee pud. Great decor. Bubbly and warm atmosphere. Thank you to all for making our birthday celebration for our son's 22nd birthday so good.

I had the pleasure of having my Christmas day lunch here with my partner and his family and was pleasantly surprised! I live local and my plans to host had fallen through so I was pretty stressed out about finding somewhere within walking distance open on Christmas day as I have been burned by Christmas day lunches at other pubs in the past but ended up really enjoying my food and afternoon here! The vibes of the pub were lovely and festive as they had decorated the pub really nice for the holidays and even had a real fire going in the fireplace and our table came with Christmas crackers to kill the time between courses. I thought the Christmas menu had a nice variety of choices and everyone at our table really enjoyed what they ordered as there was something for everyone’s taste. I think the sizes of the starters threw some people off (though still very delicious!) but the generous portions of the mains immediately made up for it. I did think price is a little steep at about £100 per head if just judging the meal on its own BUT as this was a Christmas day lunch I was just grateful that they were open, serving food, and accepted my booking on short notice (I had called in the last day they took bookings/preorders, about 2 weeks before Christmas day), the staff were all lovely, and my experience was very positive so overall I thought it was worth it! Happy new year and thank you very much again!

Really lovely spot for a Sunday Roast! The food and drinks were lovely, especially the Yorkshire Pudding! The portions are fairly large as well. The bathrooms are clean and nice. Definitely a great place to go with friends!
