The Breakfast Club have been ‘Taking care of breakfast since 2005’ and show no sign of slowing down, with their iconic yellow gaffs popping up everywhere across the capital.

Pull up a stool at the American diner-style bar or take a seat at the distressed wooden tables. The coloured tiles, wood panelling and rose-coloured ceiling give an eclectic feel that sets it apart from its sister restaurants, never mind the Pat Butcher memorabilia scattered around the place.

For veggies, the bean shakshuka & avo toast is a delight – poached eggs in a thick harissa, tomato and pepper sauce with sliced avo toast for dipping. Carnivores can’t go wrong with The Breakfast Burrito, which is full to the brim with chorizo, egg, peppers and spicy pepper sauce (also available as a veggie version).

Suppliers like Joe’s Tea and Karma Cola work closely with The Breakfast Club, cementing their status as a champion of independent businesses and ethical practices. Their products are all sustainable and come from across the country to celebrate the best of British.

Check out their secret tequila dive bar before heading for London Bridge Rail Station, which is a five-minute walk away and just a stones-throw from The River Thames if you fancy some post-breakfast sightseeing.

Absolutely recommendable. Very tasty breakfast, lots of vegetarian/vegan dishes. We had breakfast there twice and would certainly do it more often if we lived in London. I can only rate the vegetarian and vegan dishes, but they really are unbelievably delicious. The service is absolutely courteous and friendly. The ambience is very nice.

This is a pleasant enough place for something to eat, but I have to say that the price you pay for what you get is not worth it. I had the Eggs Benedict, but despite the muffin supposedly being toasted, it was still rather anaemic. It also needed more hollandaise sauce. I'm glad I ordered the extra sides of some mushrooms, a sausage and some halloumi, but the prices for these were ridiculous (see menu/receipt). The total for two of us came to £66.04, which is rather exorbitant in my opinion. The staff saved the day, to a degree, with their friendliness and service, but the main star of the show, which should have been the food, was a bit of a disappointment.

I went for brunch, party of four where we all ordered something different, I went with a pancake stack with bananas and Passion fruit cheesecake (I was very curious how this was gonna pan out!!) the cheesecake on top was UNBELIEVABLE, absolutely recommend, Friendly staff and reasonably priced for the location.
