This place really turned my head so much I felt inclined to write a review. First and foremost the attitude of the staff. They were so condescending, before and during my order if I hadn’t been so hungry I would have left. Corrected me on my table number (they need to check them) and then corrected my use of vocabulary (which is an odd thing to do to anyone but especially when both are native speakers). No thank you after I’d paid, I’ve worked years in hospitality, it’s free and important to be nice. We then watched as they asked a full table, all still with drinks after food, if they were going to order more because people wanted a table. There was still seating space in the pub btw but the new group wanted a full table - weird behaviour towards paying customers. Then let’s get to the pricing, my friend paid £8.70 for his pint which is probably the norm in certain places but this isn’t some high end pub, it looks like a run down pub (something I like) and was full of people watching the football. I ordered a burger and ordered the fries/potatoes which came separately - the meat was good quality but when I paid £25 for the privilege of the combo and this sad thing came I was flabbergasted. You can only get away with a creative menu and gastro pub vibe/prices if the atmosphere matches and sadly the staff are going to sink this place. Avoid!

Stopped for a quick pint after visiting a near by store; it’s your quintessential pub. Screens most games and takes reservations. If you are in the area, it’s a good option.

Great pub! Really spacious, big garden, classic place and decoration! Really great roast , portion and taste :) games, screens for football , could do a bit better with more staff for cleaning and serving such a big crowd, but still a great place to be, and lovely staff :)
