As a smokehouse and steak restaurant, Temper in Paddington know a thing or two about cooking a proper meaty Sunday Roast and decadent Bottomless Brunch.

temper Paddington is the latest addition to the award-winning temper group of smokehouses, serving up steak that is aged and butchered in-house, smoked meats, tacos, Sunday roasts and a bottomless Saturday brunch, plus mezcal and tequila cocktails both in the restaurant and in the bar. 

Meat is bought in from English farms, aged in-house then butchered by their team and cooked over fire, served in corn tacos or on house-made parathas.

Set right in Paddington Basin, close to the station you can grab a seat indoors and watch our chefs at work, or take a table out on the terrace and watch the world go by. It’s also ideal for large bookings and parties, and will be the first temper restaurant to offer burgers to take away at lunchtime and to serve halal meat.

    You want meat? They got meat. Until they run out, apparently. As delicious as the steak was, I have to recommend the corn on the cob slathered in cheese and mayonnaise. Amazing 😋. PS they're not going to run out of meat 😄.

    Loved the food! There was flavours and the portions are big ! (Specifically the sides so bare that in mind when you order). Playlist was old school and smooth! Little shout out to the Dominican waiter who assisted and was very pleasant with us. 🙂

    Went there for valentine's day. Halal options available which was amazing. The food was great. The tacos were tasty and perfect tapas style. Service needed work. A lot of waiters but no one to really check on you? constantly had to grab different waiters to ask where our food was while everyone around us who came after us ate and left. We appreciate the manager Charles to come to listen to the situation and help to rectify. Understand it's a new restaurant but should really focus on customer service. There are so many restaurants here in London that the service does make a difference when deciding whether to go back.
