Straits Kitchen - Sunday Roast Dinner Review My family and I recently visited Straits Kitchen for their Sunday roast dinner, and we were absolutely impressed—not just by the food, but by the exceptional service that truly made our experience special. From the moment we arrived, the attention to detail was evident. The hospitality started right at the hotel concierge and continued seamlessly into the restaurant. The entire team, from the manager to the waiters, went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful time. As a parent with a baby in tow, I was touched by how considerate they were without me even having to ask. One standout moment was when the manager noticed I was feeding my baby as our food arrived and offered to keep my meal warm until I was ready. It’s thoughtful gestures like these that elevate a dining experience. The food itself was delightful, with just the right balance of flavors. The roast was perfectly cooked, and each dish was beautifully prepared and presented. The only small note was that the gravy was a touch salty for my taste, but that might come down to personal preference. As we don’t often travel to London for dining, this visit was truly worth the trip. It was a great way to kick off the festive season with my family, and we left feeling both full and cared for. Thank you to the entire Straits Kitchen team for making it such a memorable evening! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Would definitely recommend!

Very nice setting for a family Sunday roast lunch, and great value. Bonus of live music, rare for London. The food quality is excellent. Oysters starter 10/10. I tried the 'char siu' style pork belly which sounds like a strange choice for a traditional Sunday roast but is delicious. Yorkshires, roasties and veg all done perfectly. The venue is also dog friendly, another bonus. Negative: Our first waiter did not offer the complimentary champagne which is a stated part of the Sunday lunch package and is one of the main selling points, and even after asking, he seemed to treat it as if it was an unreasonable demand. Seemed like he didn't really want to serve our group. Luckily a 2nd member of staff took over - George - who was much better was a lot more helpful and saved the day. 👍 Overall a very nice hotel and really good quality Sunday roast. Look forward to going again.

We booked to stay at Pan Pacific to celebrate a graduation, and we had a great experience. The food at Straits Kitchen was superb. One of us is vegetarian and felt like there were plenty of options to satiate hunger! The pork cheek starter was superb, soft beyond belief and with such flavour. The main course of duck and pancakes was nostalgic for me, nodding back to when I would enjoy a Chinese meal with my family...though this duck was far tastier than the Golden Dragon ever was! My chocolate dessert with tonka bean ice cream capped the meal perfectly and went down nicely with our bottle of choice, St Emilion - fairly priced too. I look forward to returning one weekend.
