For those looking for something more indulgent, the full English breakfast and its vegan counterpart are sure to satisfy.

For Brunch you will find some favourite dishes from the breakfast and lunch menus, as well as some additional tasty treats such as homemade pancakes with creamy ricotta, seasonal berries and rich maple syrup. Be sure to also try our very own aromatic Shakedown Coffee for the perfect start to your day.

At weekends, opt for their 3 course offering with bottomless, Prosecco, Draught Beer, and Signature Cocktail., served from 12pm - 3pm for £45pp.

Modern European design and British industrial designers were key influences for the creation of Shakedown Bar & Restaurant; specifically, the interiors are inspired by modern design movements, and what a designer’s studio or home might look like if visitors were allowed inside.

Shakedown Bar & Restaurant also takes reference from the area surrounding Tower Bridge, highlighting its cultural heritage; this mix of modern design with contemporary finishes has ensured that the restaurant is a stylish space that is welcoming and relaxed located a stone’s throw away from Tower Bridge.

Shakedown Bar & Restaurant is located within The Dixon Hotel, the former Tower Bridge Magistrates Court.

The lovely atmosphere and decor is the reason to bring you there. The whole place looks very cool. Regarding the food, I had a Caesar salad (and had to pay £5 extra for the chicken), which was soaked in sauce. The portion was good and the chicken was tender and warm. The service was fine, but it did feel a bit impersonal. A bit to the expensive side, as you can imagine. Not many dishes for GF/lactose free diet or dietary requirements.

I liked this place! The food is very clean, light and healthy, although I think because it was the first few weeks of the restaurant launching, some aspects were overcooked (fried egg, cod). The truffle dumplings were amazing. The steak was surprisingly tasty and cooked just right. Ambience wise it is airy, inviting, and friendly. Well designed really.

I ate breakfast here while staying at the hotel and it was quite good. The eggs Benedict were great with eggs cooked perfectly, though unfortunately the food was cold even though it wasn’t busy - which was a shame. I thought their menu was very limited for all breakfast, lunch, and dinner, though the prices were very reasonable. The staff were very friendly and efficient, and restaurant itself very clean.
