5.0a week agoWe finally got to visit this restaurant after hearing so many great things about it (mostly from Off Menu!). It lived up the hype! The food was excellent and the service was quick, but still friendly. We had a good selection of food and it was all executed perfectly. Great range of flavours and textures. It got quite busy around 5pm on the Saturday so it’s worth booking in advance.

5.03 weeks agoBeen itching to eat at Shack-Fuyu for quite some time and it certainly disappoint! The pork sandos were incredible and I could honestly eat a stacked plate of them. Our server, Sebastian, couldn’t have been more helpful or fun. Made the evening and food so much better. The pièce de résistance is most definitely the Konami French Toast with matcha ice cream. I practically inhaled it whilst sipping on some traditional sake.

4.03 weeks agoTried this spot and overall had a good experience, but I feel the price doesn’t quite match what you get. The food was well-prepared, and the flavors were solid. The stone pot crab porridge was comforting and rich, with a nice mix of textures from the crispy shallots and puffed rice. The Japanese curry rice had a well-balanced spice and umami, topped with a perfectly cooked egg. The fried pork skewers were crispy and juicy, a great side dish to complement the mains. While everything was tasty and well-executed, the portions weren’t particularly generous for the price. Given the casual setting and simple ingredients, I expected a bit more value for money. Still, the quality is there, and if you’re not too concerned about the cost, it’s a solid choice. Would I come back? Maybe, but not in a hurry. 4/5 – good flavors, but a bit overpriced for what it is.
