Rotunda

A rather poor experience at Rotunda attending their Bottomless Brunch. The main issue was having to wait over 30 minutes before our correct menu was delivered. Our booking was for their Bottomless Brunch but we were given the main menu. Our reservation was for 1:30pm but our order was not taken until 2:05pm. Unfortunately we also had issues with our food which was prepared by the kitchen but was left on the counter for over 30 minutes. We had to ask several times for our food and we had to point out to the rather inexperienced serving staff that our food had been sitting on the kitchen counter for over 40 minutes. When we raised these issues with the acting manager she was very defensive in her attitude however our mains which had been left on the kitchen counter for a long period getting cold was changed. We also noticed another order which was for a private event sitting on the counter for 1 hour. It was not surprising to see that when these plates were finally delivered they were returned immediately by the party. Al in all it was an extremely disappointing experience with both the service and the quality of the food being poor. I am left all of my main meal only eating the mushroom and tomato sides. I did speak to the Manager Mike so as to give him some feedback which he accepted in good nature which unfortunately could not be said for his female assistant.

This is a summer bar. One of the few places on the Regents Canal that you can sit out, by the water and have a drink on a nice evening. It modern building and well fitted out bar. Prices are not too bad for Kings Cross / Regents Quarter. Occasonally have some light live music. Staff are nice, but perhaps a little over stretched - as wait times at the bar was a bit of a gripe

I have had a wonderful experience at Rotunda Bar and Restaurant. Reem our waitress was so welcoming and amenable. She made this experience utterly memorable. I hope to return again in the near future. Well done Rotunda!
