It's taken me a while to post this, I have about 10 more I need to post. 😄I am writing these reviews on the computer now and will then upload the pics and ratings off my phone. This date seems like a long time ago now lol! I was taken on an 11th date here. It's a nice venue when you walk in and we were given a big table away from all the people. I ordered my mocktail and my date ordered his wine. I had a prawn cocktail to start which was nice and my date ordered the smoked salmon. My date then suggested that we get the chateaubriand steak as we had it at Gaucho. It came with the bone marrow. I had the garlic butter sauce and my date had the bearnaise sauce. However after having had the chateaubriand at Gaucho which was phenomenal, this was a bit of a let down. It was chewy and my garlic butter sauce was a bit of a funny green colour. I did like my side of mushrooms and green beans but if we're going to pay over £100 for a steak, we expect it to be of a better. I think the standard was so high at Gaucho that I would say, if you want a chateaubriand steak, you're almost paying the same price, you might as well go to Gaucho, the experience is amazing as well. We ordered coffees as well but it was let down and I won't be going back.

Perfect place for steaks, the service and atmosphere we 5 stars as well. We had the chateaubriand, which was perfectly cooked to medium rare as we requested. The meet was very tender and with a nice crust. The meet came with bonemarrow as well which was delicious. Sauces and sides were good. The staff was very attentive and quick to react.

Very disappointed to be honest. The courses were brought out extremely quickly and gave the impression of being rushed. The starters (smoked salmon and prawn cocktail) were good but the main steaks were extremely disappointing. My steak was overly salted while my dad's was under seasoned. I asked for rare and it was medium at best. The sauces were straight from the fridge and far too cold. When asked how our meals were we honestly gave feedback on the sauces and were met with "well the sauces can't be warm". This was very dismissive and frankly, untrue. Having said all that, the waitstaff were lovely and understanding. I got the impression the criticism wasn't news to them. We declined dessert and still paid £220+ for two. Very overpriced and not worth the experience.
