Designed to bring the taste and feel of Australia's café culture to London, Lantana served the first Aussia Brunch in the capital, bringing a little piece of Australia to the heart of London.

Fitzrovia is the original Lantana, it’s been 15 years since Lantana first opened doors and gave an unsuspecting Britain a sunny taste of Australian Brunch. They now have their own cookbook and several venues across London.

Urban architecture mixed with a Bondi beach vibe gives Lantana the perfect backdrop to enjoy a casual, comfortable Breakfast spread. Try the teriyaki salmon poke bowl, lighter options such as peanut butter bircher overnight oats, or their classic ‘corn fritters’ in a stack with halloumi or bacon, spinach, tomatoes, smashed avo and lemon crème fraiche.

At weekends their infamous Brunch, called the ‘Lantana Blowout’, includes free-flowing Prosecco or Mimosa (or unlimited juices and coffee for non-drinkers) alongside one of their iconic Brunch items.

Located in the heart of Fitzrovia, tucked down a sun-trapped pedestrian Lane on Charlotte Place, Lantana is just a short walk from Goodge Street Station.

Lovely place with a very tasty menu. I really enjoyed my dish (adabo pork) and got a taste of the fried chicken french toast which was also amazing. Even though I found it expensive (as everything in London) I feel that it was worth it. The dishes were exceptional and different than other brunch/breakfast places. A really interesting place which I will probably visit again.

A lovely spot for lunch and tucked away. I had the avocado toast with halloumi and really enjoyed it—fresh and flavorful. The iced matcha latte was well prepared with a whisk. The staff were friendly, though service was on the slow side (although it was lunch time so they were busy), so I wouldn’t recommend it if you're in a rush. The only downside was the carrot cake, which I found a bit dry. Overall, I would definitely come back.

A fantastic little breakfast spot with a buzzing atmosphere using fresh quality ingredients. The coffee is also great. Two breakfasts and coffee will come to around £55ish so it’s a bit pricey, then again central London. I found the full English (forgot the proper name) and the chorizo hash to be oily but that’s what some might expect for a breakfast, that’s me being picky. Tasted great and service was very helpful and smiley.
