JOIA is the first London restaurant by award-winning two Michelin-starred Portuguese chef Henrique Sá Pessoa. Inspired by Henrique's culinary heritage and travels across the Portuguese Iberian Peninsula, it's the perfect destination to finish the weekend on a high with JOIA's Sunday Lunch menu.

The interior of JOIA is inspired by the iconic art deco style of Battersea Power Station, where the design amalgates classic elements with contemporary sophistication. The restaurant's ambience is bathed in natural light streaming through floor-to-ceiling windows, with views overlooking the iconic Power Station, harmonizing with a soft palette of pinks and greens that permeate the space.

JOIA has a Portuguese inspired menu offering a delicious selection of petiscos and tapas. The Sunday menu features pan con tomate, padron peppers, grilled leeks and Iberico croquetas, followed by a choice of mains and desserts for just £55pp. Every Sunday, guest musicians span across genres - from acoustic guitarists to jazz trios, this is a Sunday Lunch experience that is not to be missed.

The restaurant is located on the 15th floor of art'otel Battersea Power Station, directly the Power Station and a 3-minute walk from Battersea Power Station tube.

Went to this restaurant with my girlfriends on a Friday evening. Upstairs is a rooftop bar with a great atmosphere and a wide selection of drinks. The food and drinks are on the pricier side, but the ambiance makes up for it. The cuisine is a fusion of Portuguese and Spanish flavors. We ordered a variety of dishes to try — the food was flavorful and satisfying, especially for someone trying Portuguese cuisine for the first time. The service was also very good.

Beautiful restaurant Not much of a view if you look down because it is train tracks. However, if you look up then it’s gorgeous specifically when the sun is setting. Service impeccable. Attention to every single detail. The food was delicious too however for me a bit too oily. The quantity served for the price is disappointing. Unfortunately they don’t have any vegan desserts.

We had a lovely visit to this restaurant! Must say that to get there it was a bit confusing due to the lifts system within the hotel. We had to find staff to allow us to get up there as we were pressing the buttons and it didn’t seem like it was working. But maybe it was just a “us” thing! We arrived at the restaurant and we were greeted warmly by the staff and the atmosphere was brilliant. Service was flawless and the food was excellent. Must say that I drank London Essence for the first time (White peach & jasmine flavour) and this is now my favourite drink ever! Additionally, this was a meal out to celebrate my partner’s birthday and according to my note left on the booking form, they presented him a cake at the end with a happy birthday note. Really thoughtful gesture and the cake was brilliant. Definitely coming back.
