The Waldorf Hilton's Afternoon Tea, inspired by La Belle et La Bête, a fairytale written and first published by French novelist Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve in 1740 and famously re-told by Walt Disney Feature Animation as "Beauty and the Beast", is thoughtfully curated by Executive Chef Luke Rayment-Blakey. This unique experience celebrates the delicate marriage of bold flavours and delicate techniques, playfully incorporating some of the much-loved scenes and characters with a Waldorf twist. To celebrate winter, they are now currently serving the ‘Be Our Guest’ A Winter’s Tale menu.

For those who prefer an evening experience, Homage offers a delectable a la carte menu, featuring dishes such as Zero Waste Monkfish served with breakfast tomato broth, stem oil, baby artichoke and sesame, and the famous Waldorf Salad. Chef Luke-Rayment Blakey is incredibly passionate about controlling food waste in his kitchen, and where possible likes to create zero waste dishes such as the Monkfish and re-purpose ingredients where possible.

    A little birthday treat for myself - 3-course meal and I loved it. The food was delicious. The service was great. The ambience was lovely.

    We really enjoyed our visit to Homage for a pre-theatre dinner. Every individual food item in the meal was flavourful and the layered honey cake for desert topped off an excellent dining experience. Also note the service was excellent and inviting, great stuff.

    We visited for the Beauty and the Beast Afternoon Tea, and overall, it was just okay. The desserts were decent, but the sandwiches could be much better. One sandwich in particular appeared to have salmon, but it was in fact with carrots instead of fish. I found this substitution quite absurd. Is this some kind of a « crisis » version of the Afternoon tea? From other reviews, I can see that salmon or ham used to be served, and I believe you should bring them back. Serving a carrot sandwich, especially at this price point, diminishes the experience.
