A charming, quaint bistro that offers a delicious food menu at reasonable prices - why wouldn't you treat yourself to Breakfast, Brunch or Sunday Lunch at Côte Covent Garden St Martin's Lane?

This charming French inspired bistro is located on St Martin’s Lane in the Covent Garden and is open from breakfast right through until dinner, catering for a Bruncher's every need.

Their Breakfast menu is an extensive mix ranging from light options such as a simple croissant or fruit salad to cooked breakfast classics such as Eggs Benedict and continental twists such as Crepe Complète with shaved Gruyere cheese. Côte follow the mantra that breakfast is better when boozy and you can upgrade to add a mimosa and Bloody Mary

Their French Sunday lunch menu is an equally eclectic affair, created with a unique twist exclusively for two to share. Choose from corn-fed marinated chicken or sirlion steak (16oz), served with Comté & thyme ‘Yorkshire puddings’, crispy confit potatoes, gratin Provençal, tenderstem broccoli, lemon & herb aioli and peppercorn sauce.

Cote Brasserie St Martin's Lane is excellently situated for that perfect pre-theatre treat, with Leicester Square tube stop just two minutes’ walk away and iconic venues merely a stone’s throw away — like the London Coliseum, Wyndham and Noel Coward Theatres.

They do have a tendency to get busy so book your Breakfast, Brunch and Sunday Lunch experience at Côte Covent Garden now.

Cote is a safe French toast experience. We previously highlighted we didn’t enjoy our first experience because the French toast felt rushed. However, we take responsibility as we did get there quite late, breakfast was ending but the Cote team were lovely and decided to still serve us breakfast. GET THERE EARLY TO GET GOOD QUALITY FRENCH TOAST. Post first experience we have enjoyed the Cote French toast. It’s worth a visit and try. We have visited a few branches and when you go early they do a good job.

The service was great however the food did not meet expectations The service was the highlight, the staff were all welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. The staff heard us mention celebrating a birthday, so 2 complimentary glasses of fizz shortly appeared which was a lovely touch. We enjoyed our starters which arrived promptly. They tasted good and we were we glad we ordered them. Unfortunately our main meal was a massive disappointment. Steak arrived undercooked. Asked for medium rare. (Was served almost blue). This wasn’t the main issue as I can enjoy a rare steak however it was so salty it was inedible. Both our steaks had clearly been heavily seasoned in salt before and after cooking. A big disappointment. To the staffs credit after i raised the issue, a new steak or an a different dish was offered but I chose to decline the offer as we had a show to catch. The meal was taken off the bill so I feel it was handled well. .

We went here before the theatre and the service was speedy and the food delicious. Would really recommend the Paris-Brest dessert!
