My friends and I had a great time at Bill’s! We got a mix of burgers and pancakes between all of us (a group of 6), after a long debate deciding what we were going to eat. Our server, Maria, was fantastic, jovial, and answered all of our questions when making our order (and did her best to fulfill my odd request of making the food as spicy as possible)! I was also impressed by the atmosphere. It was a Friday evening, and felt quite lively and busy, yet it was very easy to talk across the table without straining our voices, even as we sat near the bar area. All in all, I had a good time and would recommend the spot to someone looking for some classic American fare in a chilled out location. I can also recommend the chicken burger in particular, which I thought tasted great, and was very crispy!

Service was wonderful from the off. Even though it was super busy at the time of our reservation, staff were friendly and apologetic as they sat us down to wait for our table. They were attentive throughout, despite it being the lunch rush. The food was amazing, with the halloumi burger being dubbed “one of the nicest things” my vegetation sister has ever eaten. The bacon pancakes were amazing - though it’s a shame there’s not the option to get a smaller portion as 5 pancakes is A LOT. My mum doesn’t like olives and yet ate every single one on her seafood platter, stating they were “actually quite nice”. The cocktails were delicious and they had a good range of mocktails to accommodate those who aren’t drinking. My only regret is being too full to get dessert as I’m sure it would have been amazing…oh well, there’s always next time.

My friend and I went to Bill’s to try out the £5 bottomless pancake that we have seen advertised. We arrived and had to wait quite a bit of time to be seated. When we finally were seated, it also took a long time for someone to come and take our order. When they finally did we asked for the £5 bottomless pancakes and they said we could not order that as we didn’t have a booking. However it is not advertised that you must have a booking to take part in the £5 bottomless brunch. We asked if we could quickly just make a booking now and the waiter said no. In the future they should advertise the need for a booking if you want bottomless pancakes.
