Inspired by the hustle and bustle of India’s ancient and modern bazaars where goods, ideas, flavours and experiences were exchanged, Cinnamon Bazaar Richmond’s menu, from Vivek Singh and Head Chef Rakesh Singh, runs from breakfast through to dinner and features pan-Indian, street food style dishes that blend modern cultural influences with classic spices and flavours.

Weekend Brunch traverses the length of the subcontinent, with exotic plates and the option of adding free flowing drinks. 

Follow this up with a biryani, kingfish curry or tandoori chicken, steaming bowls of nourishing goodness that perfectly complement sides of naan, house black dal or seasonal greens. To finish why not try the carrot and ginger toffee pudding or a selection of seasonal fruit sorbets?

    The restaurant itself is fine. Good decor and can get noisy. As group of 4 we choose different dishes. They arrived really fast, tasty Indian food, not as spicy as normally Indian foods are, I was glad. Bit the portions are not that big and the service was not as individual as we would like. We find that ox dish in an Indian restaurant was a bit of a surprise. We recommend to choose side dishes to fill up thou. The lamb was my favorite. One thing we liked was the wall paper made up of old match boxes. Unusual.

    Tasty food and friendly if slow service (was a Tuesday) on the pricey side for drinks, but the food was full of flavour and did not disappoint and well priced. Outside seating is nice but is noisy when traffic picks up, so try and aboard rush hours. Inside had good AC and plenty of tables. Look forward to going back and trying the breakfast.

    Went last Thursday as a party of 5 including my 2 year old son. Menus are clearly labelled for various allergies (which was nice as I have a nut allergy). The service was very good with the waitress and other staff smiley, knowledgeable, and willing to help. Food was good also and reasonably priced for the location (would not say cheap, but not expensive). I personally had the lamb Rogan josh shepherds pie, which was just exquisite and bursting with various flavours. An excellent dish. The rest of the party also seemed to enjoy their respective meals. If ever anywhere near south west London again, will ensure to go back there again. Unfortunately, did not try one of the cocktails as had quite a lot to drink recently due to the Euros, but the cocktail menu looked great
