Fantastic restaurant with absolutely delicious food and a lovely atmosphere. The ambiance was warm and welcoming, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal. I especially appreciated the quality and flavour of the dishes clearly a lot of care goes into plating ! The only downside was the service, which was unfortunately quite slow in my case. It wasn’t a particularly busy day, so I was surprised by the wait time. This might have been an isolated experience, as the rest of the service seemed fine elsewhere. Overall, I really enjoyed my visit. Amazing food and a great setting. Just hoping for a bit more promptness next time. Definitely worth a visit!

VERY slow service but pleasant. Sunday roast tasted great but came out stone cold. Tomato soup was spectacular. Fish sandwich and roasted chicken were OK, nothing special, but very large portions. Sunday veggies were perfectly seasoned and cooked. When the entire sunday roast dish came out, stone cold, we asked if it was supposed to be this way. It was not so they took it back to remake. The roast was already sliced into small pieces, and all they did was put it on the grill, heated it up and put it back on the same plate. Still, the taste of the meat was inherently good. It was just the way that it was prepared and sent out.that was not so good. Some of the side dishes had clearly been prepared way ahead of time and started to congeal on top. Drinks very expensive, even for the location. A huge positive was that they were able to check our luggage while we ate, and the bathrooms are incredible. Very nice. Overall, there were some pros and kinds, and it was a nice place to sit and wait for our train.

Love the Victorian Gothic architecture of this restaurant converted from the actual booking office of the station. Great atmosphere. Busy till late evening in Sunday. Great service. Staff very accommodating as they ran out of pasta and we have a child that only eats pasta, so they went out and source for us. Menu was not too exciting. You will be ok if you like steak. My partner loved the steak Diane We came for Sunday roast (after reading the review in Conde’ Nast) and found out it has finished at 4pm. And live music only on Friday & Saturday. My burger was a bit dry. Stone bass was nice. Interesting cocktail menu. I will come back for drinks but not dinner.
