4.02 months agoUsual Bill’s offer in a large relaxed setting with polite, well trained staff on hand. We had brunch dishes, Steak and Eggs and an Eggs Benedict, both well cooked and presented. My only gripe would be the amount of salt thrown on the plate prior to service, see photos; I’ve used less than this to make a meal for four and it’s a positive hazard to health on one plate.

5.02 months agoCame in for dinner and really enjoyed it. The food was good, the staff were friendly and there was a nice, relaxed atmosphere. It wasn’t trying too hard, a nice place to sit, eat, and enjoy. We liked it enough to come back the next morning for breakfast, which was just as good. Would definitely pop in again if we're in the area.

4.02 months agoStepping into Bills in St Albans was a treat for the eyes! I absolutely adored the interior. it had such a warm and inviting atmosphere. It's the kind of place where you instantly feel comfortable and could happily spend a good amount of time. The food was a bit of a mixed bag, but with some real highlights. The watermelon salad was a standout. It was incredibly fresh and the perfect light and zesty counterpoint to the other dishes we ordered. Each bite was bursting with flavor. As for the ribs, they were decent. Not the kind that would make me rave, but certainly not disappointing either. They sat comfortably in the middle ground of ribs I've tried. However, the fries were fantastic! Perfectly crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Overall, Bills St Albans offers a great dining experience, especially if you appreciate a beautiful setting and are looking for some truly fresh and delicious options like their watermelon salad. While the ribs might not be the star of the show, the other elements, particularly the ambiance and those wonderful fries, make it a place worth visiting.
