5.0a month agoMy friends and I were looking for a brunch spot and while walking around the city centre, we saw the queue in front of Bill’s and said we have to give this place a try. Best decision of the day! Bill’s is a very charming, spacious, cozy space with a lot of options on the menu. We did not wait long to be seated. Luckily, the brunch menu was available until 5pm which gave us plenty of time to order different dishes. I ordered the full English breakfast, which came in this very large portion of eggs, meat, baked beans, toast and butter, and breakfast potatoes. The meal was quite delicious and it came extra fast. The fresh orange juice was really good as well. My friends had high praises for the Christmas morning pancakes, Bill’s coffee and cocktails. The prices are appropriate given the size of the portions. The waitresses are nice and attentive. They gave us really good recommendations. I appreciated that they had thematic dishes on the menu, circling around Christmas. We would have to come back again to try the rest of the menu. Overall, high praises and a recommended visit!

5.0a week agoMy wife and I frequently visit Bill's for breakfast with our two children and two dogs. The staff are always friendly and welcoming despite us being an imposition. The breakfast is always good. I particularly like the eggs benedict, the poached eggs are always perfect. My wife gets the garden plate (veggie) every time and loves it. It's a big place, often busy, so you will need to flag the staff down to pay quickly if you are in a rush. They will accommodate. If you're feeling celebratory, you can grab a bloody mary with breakfast too! :-)

1.02 months agoVery disappointed with our experience at Bill’s Cambridge. The English breakfast arrived cold and was nearly inedible—eggs were lukewarm, and the bacon was tough and rubbery. On top of that, we were kept waiting an inordinately long time for donuts, which only added to the frustration. The service felt corporate and mechanical, lacking any warmth or personal touch. For a place that usually has a great reputation, this visit fell far below expectations. A little more attentiveness and care would go a long way. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this location based on this experience.
